the easy way to change the root password is
install mobile terminal fro Cydia
after finish install please home button to go back to Home screen
look for mobile terminal then open
type “su” (without quote)
then password “alpine” (without quote)
now you are logging as root
type “passwd” (without quote)
type your new password
retype your new password

That’s it

after the instruction try to log in then enter password “alpine”
the system will deny it.

This includes portable apps from torrents, and websites. Photoshop portable, Office Portable, and partition tools portable are some of the additions. It has USB programs and standalone applications. Included is a program launcher called Asuite. This pack includes mostly freeware and shareware, but has some cracked special programs included (Office, Photoshop, MagicISO, etc) Asuite has been programmed with a complete list of all apps, and the ability to launch them from the Asuite start menu. You can also run any of these directly.

Installation:

Run “UNZIP USB APPS HERE.bat” (takes a few minutes)
Plug in USB Drive
Copy all files that were unzipped in to the root of your USB drive.
Start by using :Asuiteasuite.exe

NOTE: Asuite only links to programs on the drive its on! (wont work on your hard drive)

geohot has released his tool blackra1n to jailbreak 3.1.2 for ALL devices. This is a windows only release for now. iPod Touch 3rd generations must have their device plugged in and have to run blackra1n on every boot (tethered).

DO NOT USE THIS TOOL IF YOU NEED AN UNLOCK. THIS REQUIRES YOU TO RESTORE TO 3.1.2 PRIOR TO USING, WHICH WILL UPGRADE YOUR BASEBAND!

Instructions:

1. Update or Restore to 3.1.2 in iTunes (BASEBAND WILL BE UPGRADED FOR 3G AND 3GS)
2. Launch blackra1n
3. Press “make it ra1n”
4. Enjoy!
